Love the first picture: the sunlight, the chair and, of course, the May pillow

What an adventurous shadow in the first picture. And the girl waiting her sailor to pick her up (:

Good Morning!
I'm just sipping on my morning coffee,
listening to the birds outside my window
and enjoying your dolls.
Imagine my surprise as I admire this doll
and the woven blanket it sits on!
From the bit I see, I can tell it is a
Chimayó blanket from New Mexico.
My grandfather was a master weaver and
from Chimayó. If you go to my etsy store
(crismadeit) you will see a children's book I
wrote about all of this.
Can you please tell me how you came upon the
weaving? this is all too exciting for me.
there is also a bit about my weaving family on my
blog.
cheers!
I don't know if I'm giddy from too much
coffee (need more) or this weaving :* )
