Julian is having his first solo exhibition based on the world of Ghost Box - his co-owned record label - as part of Stirling's Le Weekend Festival
the exhibition is on until Saturday June 6th at the changing rooms, Sterling, Scotland
Julian will also be djing this Saturday, go and say hello if you live up North!
unfortunately i will be staying home..

the weather was lovely this weekend and spent mostly outdoors. so nice to see the sun back.
the school holidays are on this week which means it is going to be a bit quiet on the doll front.
Although there is a new collaboration in the air and i can't wait to be starting to work on a new couple (L&L)..

I received this lovely package from Gracia and Louise at the weekend.
the print is superb and Gracia's new zine with her star shaped collages is a real treat. you can get your copy of the zine here.
thank you Gracia, thank you Louise for all the nice goodies!

more colours, prints and patterns this week
it takes me so long to make a dress for a doll but i am enjoying the process. the flower dress at the top is made entirely from vintage fabrics.
the bag made from tapestry fabric was a lucky find (£3!) at a car boots sale last weekend. it feels pretty old and special, inside was an old newspaper dated from the 1930s.
and a very much loved print by Julie Morstad, the colours are stunning and so are the intricate pattern details. you can buy the print here

thank you for your lovely comments about the new lumis below. they will be in the shop on Tuesday 12.. hopefully x
